Who would like to play a little story based board game called Mice and Mystics? I’ll bring it this week and if folks like it, i’ll try to make it a regular thing. the main story would take several sessions anyhow.

M&M is a house favorite. I know there are a few people who may be interested. The way board game nights work is people bring what they want to play and basically elect, find a group and then go for it. I can’t guarantee that you’ll find a group right away willing to play but totally worth the effort to see. 🙂

I’ll be bringing Mage Wars, It’s a bit complicated but super fun!

Mage Wars is a customizable strategy game where you can play as a Wizard, Warlock, Beastmaster or Priestess; each with their own unique strategies and style of play. Players build their own custom spellbook, with over 300 spells to choose from! The game is not collectible – players have equal access to the same spells. There is no random card drawing – players choose exactly which spells to cast, when they want to cast them! This allows for an unprecedented level of rich strategy and tactics.

I’ll have the basic spellbooks handy and extra cards so gamers can browse.

I personally like simpler games but I know we’ve been looking for individuals interested in playing more mage wars with me my partner. Someone with better strategy than myself too! 😛

That’s great! We’d love to see Mage Wars take off so if we can gather enough interested players we can plan for an official tournament or on-going series. Even if it doesn’t got that far, I’m always happy to see people take initiative and host a table for board game night! Thanks! 🙂

Anyone down to try out Scythe? I just got it!

We’ll put out the word and see who’s down for it on Thursday. I suspect it won’t be a problem getting enough players. 🙂

Super! Thanks for the quick response. 🙂 I just realized I won’t be there on Thursday but I will come another night and bring it!
